How We Write, Verify & Maintain Our Family Guides

Every guide in the JarQuest library is written to help an exhausted parent tonight—even if they never use an app.

Our 4 Editorial Commitments

  1. Standalone Utility First: Every guide includes a concrete step-by-step method, realistic age adaptations, and a copyable checklist before introducing any software feature.
  2. Verified Screenshots Only: Every screenshot embedded on this site is captured deterministically from our hardened V3.4.1 build (3506e58) and verified by SHA-256 checksum.
  3. Honest Roadmap Gating: When a guide discusses a capability that is still on our engineering roadmap, we disclose the gap in plain English and keep the page marked noindex, nofollow until the feature ships.
  4. Grounded Pediatric & Safety Sources: We cite primary guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP / HealthyChildren.org), CDC, NHS, Sleep Foundation, and peer-reviewed executive-function research.
